NEWS: New poll shows sellers and landlords want real agents, not online ones
A survey of 1,000 home owners and landlords suggests that large majority want to deal with ‘real’ estate agents with local offices, rather than online agents.
The study, by communications consultancy Face For Business, shows 60 per cent of people immediately favouring an agent with a local office.
Six per cent were unsure and 34 per cent chose an online agency.
The reasons given by supporters of ‘real’ agents included the better communications they offer, the ability to drop in to see them in person, the likelihood that agents working in an area will be far more familiar with neighbourhoods and properties, and the fact that they are likely to be more skilled at selling or letting.
